A quiet, focused space for the roll that actually matters — no clutter, no ads, no wondering what your last throw was. Build a pool, tap once, and let chance settle in.
Every function here exists because a table asked for it — mixed pools, quick modifiers, and a memory that outlasts the scene.
Combine standard polyhedrals in any combination — a d20 and three d6 in the same throw, resolved together in one motion.
Add flat bonuses or penalties the moment the situation calls for them, applied cleanly to the total every time.
Swing fate in your favor or against it — roll twice, keep the one that matters, exactly when the moment demands.
Save the pools you throw again and again, so a habitual roll never needs to be rebuilt from scratch.
Every result stays logged long after the dice come to rest, so the table never has to ask "what did I get again?"
Shake the device or tap once — either way the tumble runs its course and the answer appears, fair and instant.
A small taste of the real thing — choose your dice, set a modifier, and see the tumble settle.
🎲We're a small team of tabletop regulars who got tired of dice apps that felt like everything else on a phone — banner ads between throws, five taps to change a die, results that vanished the second the screen dimmed. Polydice is what we wanted to reach for instead: a roller built by people who actually sit at the table.
🎯Our mission is simple — let the roll be the moment, not the interruption. No clutter, no distractions, no sense that the app is competing with the game for your attention. Just a clean space where choosing your dice, building a pool, and watching it resolve happens in one unbroken motion.
✨Polydice gives you every standard polyhedral mixed however a scene demands, modifiers you can add the instant they're needed, and advantage or disadvantage for when fate should tip one way. Presets remember your recurring checks, a running history keeps every result on hand, and subtle feedback makes each throw feel alive without ever pulling you out of the moment — shake the device or tap once, and the answer appears.
🎯 Clear dice. Clean play. Every roll, yours alone.
Polydice is built on one rule we don't bend: the app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Every die you choose, every pool you build, and every result in your history stays on your device and nowhere else. This policy explains exactly what that means in practice.
None. Polydice has no account system, so we never ask for a name, an email address, or any other identifying detail. We don't request location access, we don't run analytics on how you use the app, and we don't generate any profile of you as a user. The dice you roll, the pools you save as presets, and the history the app keeps are created and read entirely on your own device.
Because nothing is collected, there is nothing for us to use, analyze, or sell. Every feature — mixing dice, applying modifiers, resolving advantage or disadvantage, saving a preset, replaying your history — runs as an on-device calculation. There is no server processing your rolls and no dataset being built from your play.
Your presets and roll history are stored locally in the app's own storage on your phone or tablet. There is no cloud sync, no remote database, and no copy of your data held anywhere outside the device you're using. If you never back up or transfer the app, that data never leaves the hardware in your hands.
Polydice does not embed third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs of any kind. We don't share data with partners because there is no data to share, and no external service is called on to make the app work.
Keeping everything local is itself a security choice — there is no transmission to intercept and no remote database to breach. The app relies on the operating system's own protections for locally stored app data, and we keep the amount of stored information as small and simple as the features require.
Polydice does not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because there is no account creation and no data collection of any kind, the app is compliant with COPPA by design rather than by policy alone.
You are always in full control of your own data. Since everything lives on your device, deleting the app removes your presets and history completely — there is no account to close and no backup sitting on a server somewhere. Nothing persists anywhere once it's gone from your device.
We may update this policy from time to time as the app evolves. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date at the top, so you can always see when it was last updated.
Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@polydiceapp.com.
